Doubles:

Finally!
Chiofolo & Enright Take Title

They may have been the #2 seed but they deserved to win their first Doubles title after Vic Chifolo(70) and Dennis Enright(73) plastered Jeff Matvienko(65) and Carlos Triana(91) to the tune of 7&6.

Plastered might be the appropriate word as Carlos Triana's hard partying ways and lack of preparation the night before the big match left his heroic partner twisting in the wind like three sheets.  Even Stewie could not comprehend how a mere three shots of Patron would lead to 105 shots on the golf course for everyone's favorite illegal Triana.

Carlos' debacle aside, Vic and Dennis earned this one as they got a five year old monkey off their backs with their first team major win.  They came out hot themselves and ran out to a 5-up lead at the turn and they needed to because Jeff was putting up a gross-39 of his own on the front.  Instead of grinding it out on the back, Carlos must have been wishing for some of those strong Colombian coffee grinds to snap him out of it.  When he did finally come to his senses, the match had already been closed out on twelve.

Vic and Dennis finally paid Carlos and Jeff back for a slew of defeats at their hands

Tom Murphy and Mike Pettigrew shared some good times at NYCC. On one hole, they even shared a ball
