KUMIA “RAINS” AGAIN

Back-to-back wins. Back-to-back downpours. Chris Kumia is becoming the Weekenders’ Rain King.

KUMIA MAKES A SPLASH AT FOX HOLLOW!

The skies opened, Fox Hollow held firm, and Chris Kumia weathered it better than anyone. Kumia fired a net even-par 70 to win by four strokes, collect his second victory of 2026, and tighten the race for the remaining spots in the year-end Players Championship. Meanwhile, the Match Play playoffs brought a changing of the guard in Doubles and a dominant performance from the day’s champion in Singles.

Pettigrew ROCKS the Creek!

The Weekenders came to Colts Neck for the first time with a tournament to win and playoff spots still hanging in the balance. When the final putts dropped, longtime Weekender Mike Pettigrew stood alone at the top, firing a net 70 to defeat Jae Kim by three after Kim surrendered four shots over the final three holes.

SCRAMBLED TO VICTORY!

Kumia & Kim Conquer New Jersey’s Toughest Test in a Dramatic Tiebreaker Crystal Springs lived up to its reputation. Chris Kumia and Jae Kim survived one of the most unforgiving courses in New Jersey, caught Frank Garcia and Rich George down the stretch, and claimed the Two-Man Scramble title on a back-nine tiebreaker. For Kim, it was another win in an already strong season. For Kumia, it came with something even bigger: a ticket to the Players Championship.

Kepic It Rolling

Joe Kepic captured his second consecutive Weekenders victory at Harker’s Hollow, proving his recent run is no coincidence.

Eighteen and Counting!

Jeff Matvienko added another victory to his impressive record, winning the stroke play event at Flanders (Blue-White) last Sunday. Matvienko delivered a solid performance with a net score of 70, narrowly defeating Stephen George, who finished just one stroke behind with a net 71.

Leave It to Brady

On a bright afternoon that still found ways to bite, Brady Lau turned Beaver Brook's placement test into a winning round — a net 72, the day's low gross at 78, and a three-shot cushion over the field.
